Yes. The eufyCam S3 Pro not only supports MaxColor Night Vision Mode, but also provides Adaptive Spotlight Mode and Infared Night Vision Mode to meet your needs when in different lighting conditions.
2. Does it work with Homebase™ 2?
No, the eufyCam S3 Pro only works with Homebase™ S380 (Homebase™ 3).
3. How efficient is the built-in solar panel charging? Why do I need an external solar panel if the camera already have a built-in solar panel?
With full exposure to direct sunlight, the built-in solar panel can collect and store 450 to 900 mAh per day. eufycam S3 Pro uses 100 to 200 mAh over a day and night of average use, with 1 hour optimal sunlight, the camera can keep working for an entire day. However, this depends on the strength of the sunlight. Install your camera in a position that exposes it to as much sun as possible. The eufyCam S3 Pro can be charged using an external solar panel when you need to install the camera in areas with insufficient sunlight (e.g., under the eaves). The external panel works in conjunction with the built-in solar panel so you can get versatile mounting options and more reliable backup power for continuous security.
4. Can MaxColor Vision work in total darkness?
It depends on how much clarity you need. The product offers various night vision modes. In complete darkness (like indoor spaces, enclosed backyards, or low-light suburban areas), using a infrared light is advisable for enhanced clarity.
5. Does the system support 5G Wi-Fi and 24/7 recording?
The camera supports only 2.4G Wi-Fi and features 24/7 Snapshot to keep an eye on activities between motion-triggered events. The 24/7 recording or Wired Mode is currently in development and will be released soon. Please stay tuned for updates.
