The eufy 4G LTE Cam S330 (model T86P2) is an IP55-rated outdoor camera for sites with no Wi-Fi and no power outlet. It runs over 4G LTE or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If the Wi-Fi drops, the camera switches to 4G on its own and keeps recording. Video is 4K (3840×2160) with a 138° diagonal field of view. The camera pans 344° and tilts 70°. Its AI detection picks out people and vehicles and follows them as they move, and you can save up to 4 preset positions. At night it sees in black-and-white infrared. Turn on the 100-lumen spotlight and night video stays in color out to 26 ft (8 m). A 9,400 mAh battery and the included 4.5W solar panel handle power. Continuous 24/7 recording — The S330 records motion-triggered events rather than recording continuously. It keeps working around the clock off-grid on battery and solar power, but each recording starts when motion or an event is detected.
Spots with weak cellular signal, or outside compatible carrier coverage — the camera is only as connected as the 4G signal at your site. Check signal strength in the eufy app under About Device before you commit to a spot. The included SIM runs on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon in the US. Supported US 4G bands: B2/B4/B5/B12/B13/B14/B66/B71. If none of the three carriers reaches your site, or your own SIM's carrier falls outside those bands, the camera can't get online there.
1. Is the eufy 4G LTE Cam S330 the same as the eufyCam 3 (S330)?
No. The 4G LTE Cam S330 (model T86P2) is a cellular outdoor camera that works where Wi-Fi is unavailable, while the eufyCam S330 (models T8871/T8160, also sold as eufyCam s3) is a separate Wi-Fi camera system. eufy also sells a Floodlight Cam S330 and a Video Doorbell S330, so look for the full name "4G LTE Cam S330" or model T86P2 when checking specs or support articles.
2. Does the 4G LTE Cam S330 need a monthly fee or data plan?
There is no monthly fee to eufy for recording, local storage, or app features. For cellular use, the included EIOTCLUB SIM card comes with 100 MB of trial data covering basic service for the first 7 days, and after the trial you buy 4G data as needed in the eufy app with no contract; current packages and prices are shown in the app.
3. Does the eufy 4G LTE Cam S330 record 24/7?
No. The camera records when motion or an event triggers it rather than continuously, so each clip starts when motion is detected. It stays powered around the clock on its battery and solar panel, and clips are saved to the microSD card or, on Wi-Fi, to a connected HomeBase.
4. Where are recordings stored? Is a microSD card included?
Yes. The package includes a 32 GB microSD card, and the camera supports cards up to 128 GB if you need more space. On Wi-Fi, recordings can also be saved to a connected eufy HomeBase. Your videos stay on your own local storage, eufy servers keep no copies, and local recording has no monthly fee.
5. Which networks and SIM cards work with the 4G LTE Cam S330?
The included EIOTCLUB 3-in-1 SIM card works on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon in the US, and the camera automatically selects the most stable of the three. Supported US 4G bands are B2, B4, B5, B12, B13, B14, B66, and B71. The SIM is intended for the region where the camera was purchased, so using it abroad may stop it from connecting. Your own nano SIM also works with a data-only plan; 5G cards run at 4G speeds, and it is worth checking compatibility with your provider first.
6. How does the camera connect — 4G, Wi-Fi, or HomeBase?
The camera connects over 4G LTE or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and automatically switches to 4G if the Wi-Fi signal is lost; only 2.4 GHz networks are supported. It can also connect to HomeBase S380 (HomeBase 3), HomeBase Professional S1, or HomeBase mini over Wi-Fi, while HomeBase 2 is not supported. The camera also works fully on its own without any HomeBase.
7. How long does the battery last, and how does solar charging work?
On a full charge the 9,400 mAh battery lasts about a month under moderate use (10 motion events of 10 seconds and 5 live views a day at moderate temperature), and actual battery life varies with motion frequency, clip length, temperature, and signal. The included 4.5W solar panel keeps it charged with about 2 hours of direct sun a day in good conditions.
8. How does night vision work on the 4G LTE Cam S330?
The camera uses infrared black-and-white night vision by default, and its 100-lumen spotlight can light the scene to keep night video in color up to 26 ft (8 m) away. You can also enable an alarm that activates the spotlight and a siren when motion is detected.
9. Does the 4G LTE Cam S330 work with Alexa, Google Assistant, or Apple HomeKit?
It works with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and the eufy Smart Display E10, but it does not support Apple HomeKit. NAS storage and cross-camera tracking are not supported on this model.
10. How much data does the eufy Security 4G LTE Cam consume each month?
The estimated data usage is around 700 MB per month with 10 daily live views of 10 seconds each, and 25 motion-triggered recordings of 10 seconds each per day. Actual usage may differ based on a number of factors.
