Which eufy devices and third-party ecosystems is TrackLight Cam S1 compatible with?
TrackLight Cam S1 is only compatible with these eufy devices: HomeBase 3, HomeBase Mini, Homebase Professional S1, NVR S4, and Smart Display E10. TrackLight Cam S1 is compatible with Google Home right out of the box. To connect with Apple Home, it needs to be paired through HomeBase 3.
Can I keep the light on even when no motion is detected?
TrackLight Cam S1 does not support always-on lighting. The light stays on for the same duration as the recording. Max duration is 120 seconds per trigger, with a 5-second minimum interval between triggers, even with continuous power and 24/7 recording enabled.
How long is the solar panel cable, and can I extend it?
The panel comes with a 6.6 ft / 2 m connecting cable—please do not extend it, as doing so may reduce charging efficiency. If the distance between the solar panel and the camera exceeds 6.6 ft / 2 m, you can plug a 5V/2A USB-C cable (not included) into the charging port to use the camera with continuous power.
Will the solar panel keep my camera charged all year, even in winter?
With optimal sunlight, the solar panel collects 1,000 - 2,500mAh per day, while the camera uses 300 - 550mAh based on 36 daytime 20-second recordings and one 60-second nighttime deterrence event per day. Actual results may vary with detection frequency
Does TrackLight Cam S1 have built-in eMMC storage?
No. To record and store video, use a microSD card (not included), or connect the camera to any eufy ecosystem device such as HomeBase 3.
