First off I would like to note that this is my first robovac, And I recently moved into a two-bedroom apartment that's approximately 1,000 ft², I have plenty of space, no carpeting.At the time this was 55% off I bought the version without the SES base station, paid about $260 for it,When you first unbox it I recommend charging it to full which you take probably about 5 hours. Mine arrived at 20% battery, when I first turned it on the setup was very easy using the app, I then began the mapping sequence which took less than 30 minutes. And then I created each room individually and set up each room's needs. press the auto button and it started up. It takes about 55 minutes to clean the entire apartment. It's not that noisy, but it sure does suck up a lot of hair, I have one cat, after the cleaning was done it was still at 40% battery, they boast of 160 + minutes but I don't think you will actually get that, The second time I used it I also used the mopping function, Don't expect miracles with this it does a great job but you would still need to do a deep clean yourself every once in a while, this little robovac has no problem navigating autonomously and on a schedule. While you're sleeping, I currently have it set up on a schedule to automatically run Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays. I did my research before buying this and I have no regrets.The replacement parts are pretty affordable, and even tracks how many hours each part has left,In the future I would definitely buy from this brand again.

I waited a few months to make a review because everything is good at the beginning. I’ve been a loyal Roomba customer. I had the cheap one and j series. My cheap one got trashed after a year or two and my j series got returned. I was iffy since I’ve never heard of this brand before….amazing. The map of my house is so accurate, easier to read, you can watch where it’s at, it cleans its own brushes, doesn’t leave anything behind (I have 4 dogs and 5 kids) I run it 1-2 times a day and NEVER have to go over the floor with myself. I have yet to use the mopping function because I have rugs all over the place but that’s okay. I wish I would have paid extra and got the one that empties itself but I had the Roomba and hated it. Lesson learned. Too Roomba won’t clean in the dark, this little fella is a champ and cleans no matter what. Not too loud and you can change the suction power. Definitely worth the money! Works amazing.

This is our second robot vac. First one was a Neato. We are very pleased with the X8 so far. It cleans much better than the Neato and is far more efficient. So far it has never gotten stuck under the furniture. No-go lines were easy to set up. The app is not particularly intuitive but its map is great, automatically putting separate colors on each room. We've used the mopping feature once...that's ok, not great. The dust bin is a bit small, as compared to the Neato.
