The evolution of these systems has been astounding from simple dumb stagnant hard wired cameras, to motorized PTZ, Wi-Fi, to Solar, Cellular, etc., But most importantly the firmware within the later model cameras that can actually improve the built in functions of the hard parts usage via the software ups the performance and capabilities. Now, we are in the age of AI cameras that can recognize and think about what they are seeing to help identify what a spectrum of pixels actually means in many ways. That is kind of mind blowing when you think about it. Taking pixels off an image sensor input and having it work pretty much like your brain now does, but only in many ways even better. And here you have it in this upscale Hi-Tech security camera system with not just AI, but AI and two cams in one cam housing. This thing can see far away, and zoom in for you while covering a wide plot of land or small part of it and even track what it wants to based on need, and still cover what would be a blind spot with fixed cameral other systems just can't do. Now I currently have a great, or what I thought was great security camera system that I personally installed covering all parameters of my place. But this unit beats and defeats all the time, work, money, effort, put into that last year. So, I will be replacing that system with this one as soon as I get the time.
