The eufy Indoor Cam E30 is a plug-in 4K security camera with pan and tilt, made for use indoors. Its lens has a 125° diagonal field of view, and pan and tilt extend coverage to 360°. On-device AI detects motion, people, pets, sounds, and crying, and the camera automatically follows a person or pet as they move. At night it uses infrared night vision up to 32.8 ft, or color night vision up to 16.4 ft with its built-in spotlight. It records 24/7 or by event to a microSD card of up to 128GB (sold separately), with no monthly fee for local recording; eufy Cloud backup is optional and requires a subscription. 1. Which eufy indoor camera should I choose: Indoor Cam E30, E220, or S350?
Choose the Indoor Cam E30 if you want 4K video, color night vision with a built-in spotlight, and auto-tracking for both people and pets, with Apple Home support. The Indoor Cam E220 records in 2K and uses infrared night vision only. The Indoor Cam S350 also records in 4K with people and pet tracking, but it works with Alexa and Google Assistant and does not list Apple Home support. All three record 24/7 or by event to a microSD card with no monthly fee for local recording.
2. Is the eufy Indoor Cam E30 wireless or battery-powered?
No. It is a plug-in camera: it needs to stay connected to a power outlet using the included power adapter and USB-C cable. It connects to your home network over 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
3. Is the eufy Indoor Cam E30 the same as the eufy SoloCam E30?

4. What microSD card does this camera need?
The eufy Indoor Cam E30 supports a microSD card of up to 128GB. Use a Class 10 or faster card in SDXC format that supports UHS-1; UHS-2 and UHS-3 cards are not supported. A microSD card is not included, and the card must be formatted in the eufy app before use.
5. Do I need a subscription to use this camera?
No. Full product functionality is included with no subscription. The camera records locally to a microSD card (not included). eufy Cloud backup is optional and requires an active eufy Cloud subscription.
6. Is the eufy Indoor Cam E30 compatible with HomeBase?
Yes, with HomeBase S380 (HomeBase 3) and HomeBase mini. The Indoor Cam E30 is not supported on HomeBase 2. When connected to HomeBase S380, the camera can use the HomeBase for storage and supports its BionicMind, mode, and automation features. Apple Home and HomeBase 3 cannot be used with the camera at the same time — remove the camera from the Apple Home app before connecting it to HomeBase 3.
7. Does this camera work with Apple Home, Alexa, and Google Assistant?
Yes. It works with Apple Home, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant. In Apple Home, video is limited to 1080p because of HomeKit restrictions; the eufy app shows full 4K. Apple Home and HomeBase 3 cannot be used with the camera at the same time.
8. How do night vision and the spotlight work?
The camera switches between infrared night vision, up to 32.8 ft, and color night vision, up to 16.4 ft, using its built-in spotlight. The spotlight is off by default. To turn it on, open the eufy app and go to Settings > Light Settings > Enable Light > Motion for Lights.
9. Does it support 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
No. The camera connects only to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. Check that the installation spot has at least 2 Mbps upload speed.
10. How does AI tracking work, and can I save camera positions?
When the camera detects a person or pet, it pans and tilts to follow the movement. If you have set an activity zone, tracking starts only for activity inside that zone. After 30 seconds without motion, the camera returns to its default position. You can save up to 4 preset positions in the eufy app and switch between them with one tap.
11. How does Privacy Mode work?
When Privacy Mode is on, the camera turns to face a wall or a direction you choose, stops recording, and deactivates.
12. What's in the box?
The camera, a mounting bracket, a USB-C cable, a power adapter, positioning stickers, a screw pack, and a quick start guide. A microSD card is not included.
13. Why is my panoramic image blurry?
Check if your firmware is up-to-date: Go to Settings > General > About Device > Check for Firmware Update.
