Very easy to setup and install fantastic quality footage. Just brilliant.

Only had it a couple of weeks but it is doing everything it’s supposed to do very well.

I've bought three of these to have around the side and rear of my home where I get sun all day. Install was very easy with the drilling templates and instructions were good, including on the app. They all paired with the Homebase 3 without issue and automatically installed the firmware updates. The signal once in position is OK - enough to do what they need to do in terms of sending events to the Homebase so they can be forwarded to my phone. Although they sometimes struggle with live feed via the app - this was annoying when trying to set default positions as the live signal kept dropping on two of them and the unit reset position every time, but I got there in the end. I also tried to get a live feed on them when away from home with limited success and my 5G signal on my phone was at maximum. In terms of recording events though, all seems to be working almost perfectly. The units track well and the image quality/frame rate is crisp, including both the B&W and colour night vision, even though these are battery powered. The lights are surpisingly good too, being adequate for popping outside to the bins or the shed after dark. The AI is OK - I have all my family members saved on the app and it recognises us most of the time, but sometimes misses the mark and also occasionally suggests a cat, squirrel or bird is a human! The app is really good, lots of configurations and features and every specific technical question I've had about my system so far has been answered on it's FAQ too. Overall first impressions are positive. Time will tell how the SoloCam S340 stands up to the weather and how good the solar charging really is.
