FAQ
How do I use a Wi-Fi module?
The Wi-Fi Module needs to be used with the eufy NVR. It connects to the eufy NVR's back panel interface via a special Type-C cable.
How do I bind a new eufy Wi-Fi camera to my NVR via a Wi-Fi module?
Ensure the Wi-Fi module is connected to the eufy NVR and the indicator light of the module is solid blue. Use the eufy app to bind Wi-Fi cameras normally by scanning the QR code. During the binding process, select “Bind to eufy NVR”.
How do I switch a Wi-Fi camera tethered to HomeBase2/HomeBase3 to an NVR?
Please ensure your NVR is bound to the eufy app. Tap the NVR icon on the homepage and select “Switch Device and Videos.” Only devices linked to HomeBase2/HomeBase3 support one-click migration; update unsupported devices before migrating.
What devices are currently supported by the Wi-Fi Module?
Currently, the Wi-Fi Module (NVR) only supports a limited selection of Wi-Fi Cams, Indoor Cams, Floodlight Cams, Video Doorbells, and Sensors. Please refer to the Wi-Fi Module sales page for a complete list of supported devices.
What is the maximum number of Wi-Fi cameras that a Wi-Fi module can support?
The access capacity of a Wi-Fi module is limited by the number of channels (16 channels) of the NVR itself. For a Wi-Fi camera that is powered on 24/7 and outputs streams continuously, a maximum of 4 cameras can be connected to the NVR.
